I finished my first cosplay-worthy costume: (pics coming soon)

We got a puppy!

Me and mah bro are about to start private school! We’ve been homeschooled basically our entire lives so this is a big step!

See y’all soon!

Here’s Scout! He’s a 13 week old male Cairn terrier and he loves people, dogs, leaves, etc. etc. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Are Y’all Stoked For Spring Break???

Hey peoples!

The school year seems to have gone by so fast! My third quarter just ended and now I’m on to my fourth and final quarter! YAY!

A couple of big things have happened since my last post:

Me and my brother got into Westminster! Its a private classical school and we are super duper excited to go there next school year! Here is a link to the school’s website, just in case you want to check it out, or if you just like clicking links: CLICK MEEEE

I had to separate my hamsters! ๐Ÿ™ They started fighting and I decided that they would both be much happier by themselves. Hopefully they will be able to eventually go on “playdates” together for short visits.

Our spring break is the week before Easter and my cousin Kyle and his girlfriend Sarah are coming to stay with us! They are staying with us so they can easily drive to Atlanta, Georgia to get visas for an out of the country mission trip. I think that we are going to have loads of fun!

What are you guys doing for spring break? Comment below!

Bya peeps!

Happy Mardi Gras!

Today is Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday. It is the day right before Ash Wednesday, which is the beginning of Lent. It is a day when everyone celebrates to their fullest and enjoys all their favorite things before the beginning of Lent!

Some places celebrate Mardi Gras by holding parades and throwing plastic bead necklaces or assorted toys to the happy bystanders. These trinkets are thrown from “floats” which are, essentially, giant trailers elaborately decorated and hooked to trucks. The place most famous for its Mardi Gras parades is New Orleans, Louisiana!

The tradition of Mardi Gras parades goes deep in New Orleans, having been celebrated since 1730! (Mardi Gras History, Mardi Gras New Orleans) There are several different parades, each with its own unique “krewe”, which is the people throwing the beads from the floats.

Mardi Gras is a fun time as there is always music and good food, including ย King Cake. I don’t have enough time to write about that now, but I’ll be sure to tell you guys when I do have time!
